Founded in September of 2016, Babes Who Hustle is an online community for working women to connect and empower one another across all industries, professions, backgrounds and locations. We aim to inspire, celebrate and share an inside look into the day-to-day musings of babes who hustle around the world.
FOUNDER + CEO
Hi! I'm Chelsea, a 24-year-old wannabe hustlin’ babe who graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a B.A. in Editing, Writing & Media. I have a background in copywriting and integrated marketing and currently work full-time in the Environmental Sustainability industry, and dabble in freelance writing and editing opportunities when they arise. I created BWH in an attempt to learn more about the post-grad opportunities that are available to me, while meeting the ladies who are kicking ass in them every day. I hope this platform inspires you to never stop asking questions, embracing opportunities, and celebrating one another.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/RIGHT HAND WOMAN
Hello! I'm Mara, a 21 year-old Michigan native who started my (mostly) adult life here in Jax, FL. I attended Jacksonville University but accidentally (on purpose) didn't finish my English degree and have since been supporting myself as Content Creator for Momni Boutique and now Executive Assistant here at BWH! My work includes curating social media accounts, writing and editing blog posts, coordinating and pitching interviews, managing our BWH contributing writers, assisting with events, styling photoshoots, helping with administrative tasks and merchandise fulfillment, and assisting Chelsea in any way I can! My interests include intersectional feminism, sustainable living, and painting while I Netflix-binge. I’m here to write some, read more, and learn a whole bunch from all of you hustlin' babes.
Hi! I'm Heather. I believe familiarity creates empathy, and that by sharing our experiences—and the experiences of others—we can create a more compassionate world. My focus as an editor has always been about really extraordinary voices, helping bring confidence and clarity to their story, then simply passing them the microphone. I'm currently the full-time lead copywriter at Belief Agency in Seattle, where I'm responsible for overseeing the quality and communication of clients’ copy needs. I live in Seattle with my husband, Sean, and our two Australian Shepherd-mixes, Draper and Faye.
